Specializing in the production of luxury bar furniture completely made in Italy, the company focuses on the design, selection of the finest materials and the adoption of the most advanced technologies, customized for each product.

1831
THE BEGINNING
Giuseppe Sambonet opened a workshop for the production and sale of handmade silver craftsmanship, becoming the official supplier of the Royal Family in 1900.

1919 - 1945
THE COMPANY
Giulio Sambonet transforms the laboratory into a factory, in the same building that today houses the NORIA showroom. These are the years in which the company begins to stand out for its innovations; it is, in fact, the first in Europe to develop a system for silver-plating.
1946 - 1973
THE EXPANSION
Giorgio, owner of several patents, transformed a small-scale company into an industrial organisation, bringing the company to a leading position in the sector, contributing over the years to the strengthening of the brand worldwide.
1974 - 1986
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
During the years of family management, the company won the prestigious Compasso d'Oro award twice; first with a series of trays, then with a stainless steel fish bowl, now on display at the MoMa in New York.
1987 - 2011
NEW HORIZONS
These are the years in which Giulio and Sergio dedicated themselves to starting new brands, always with great success, including La Tavola, which for over 20 years has been anticipating trends with table top solutions for the most sophisticated customers. In these same years, his father Giorgio received the nomination of Cavaliere del Lavoro.
2011 - 2023
NORIA HOME
Today Matteo, Sergio's son, represents the seventh generation of the Sambonet family. A family, now as then, full of passion for the creation of sophisticated and cutting-edge products. Noria is born, the brand targets the residential market.
